So, what’s David to do when visiting his godparents for a dinner? Earn his supper by swiffering(TM) the bathroom? Or is he just exploring as usual? “Honey, can you watch David while I have a sip of conversation?”
In the meantime, David will probably do one or more of the following in the near future:
- Get a haircut soon. Maybe.
- Ask to play “ous-side!”
- Ask for Anna (a neighbor near his age) by name: “Ah-Nah!”
- Request that one of his parents “seet” so he can climb in our lap to read a new book.
- Exclaim, “Keee-ee” (kitty) as Punkin walks by, or “Keees” (keys) as we return home and unlock the door.
We loved seeing Richard and Laura, and their ever-growing Jane!
Note to selves: David needs his own set of keys because ours keep on getting misplaced.
