Last Sunday, David surprised us with his basic accounting skills, demonstrating he may already be helping Momma and Dada with taxes this year! Sure, he needed a little prompting, but it doesn’t take much for him to impress us. Select the image below to watch the video.

That day, we also visited Lake Metroparks Farmpark, so David could be introduced, now that he’s a little older, to all the wonders of living on a farm. We saw a piglet that had been the only one in a litter (the mother on her last litter, it seems, according to her caretaker), and David was visibly excited. “Bebbeh Peeg!”
Next visit, we’re hoping he’ll want take a pony ride next time! This time, however, a volunteer let him get behind the wheel of a John Deere tractor. If he’d been handed the keys, David probably would have driven home!
