Yes, finally, a photo of Joe and me, the morning after he proposed, right before we hopped in the car and headed back home to start planning the big day! That was mid-April, and by now, roughly 2-and-a-half months away from the wedding, we’ve got the ceremony/reception site booked, the menu figured out, the invitations printed and ready to be stuffed (into envelopes, that is), the photographer booked, the official booked, the honeymoon booked, and the flowers and favors more or less figured out! What’s left? Let’s see: plan the ceremony, order the al-kee-haul, order the flowers, get the license, and….?
Our philosophy/strategy all along has been KISS (Keep It Simple, Sweetie!), and so far it’s working out very well (knock on my pointy wooden head).
The biggest/most time-consuming task at the moment seems to be coming up with music/a song list for the reception. Since we’re in charge, not some pseudo-hipster DJ, I feel like we can truly look forward to the reception: no Meatloaf, no Kool and the Gang, no Electric Slide, etc. Aaaaahhhhhh.
And with Joe’s endless CD collection, it’s going to be a blast crafting the soundtrack for our wedding!
But we want help from our friends: E-mail us and let us know what songs you’d love to hear and dance to at our reception!
P.S. Joe and Sheryl reserve the right to reject any song title for no apparent reason.
